About Karma Candles

Bold, distinct, and long-lasting, Karma Candles capture the vibrant culture and character of southern Texas, infusing your room with delightfully unique scents.

Liven your living space with the festive aromas and bold colors of our carefully handcrafted candles. Karma’s fragrances evoke springtime strolls through the Hill Country and breezy afternoons by the river, a refreshing cocktail in hand.

Karma Candles are sustainably-sourced using all natural soy wax, 100% lead free cotton wicks, and cosmetic grade fragrances to produce an amazingly clean burn. Every candle is mixed, dyed, and poured right here in San Antonio, Texas.

Our Story

In 2009, we were itching for a creative, hands-on endeavour and landed on the idea of candles. By chance or perhaps fate, we received our first order–for 100 candles, no less–before we had made even one. Thus was born Karma Candle Makers and our mission to infuse homes with locally inspired fragrances of the utmost quality.

The fruits of our labor–a line of more than 20 fragrances in the form of candles, cubes, and oils–are recognized today for their lively colors and lingering, clean aromas.

To Karma’s candle chandler extraordinaire and long-time San Antonian Mario Siller, it only makes sense to find inspiration in his surroundings. As a lover of the great outdoors and a supporter of the local movement, Mario creates fragrances and colors that represent life in San Antonio. He also loves meeting customers–locals and out-of-towners alike–so be sure to swing by and say hi next time you see our booth.

Roseann Sanchez is the company founder and creative driving force of Karma. With an eye for style, she keeps Karma’s image looking as beautiful and bright as the candles they create. Roseann is a chocolate connoisseur and appreciates a good vegetarian meal. Both she and Mario are avid music lovers and are currently working to develop a custom candle for a local band.

At Karma, we strive to spread positivity through our craft. We love making candles as much as you love smelling them.
